They are pretty boring after the first couple of series, when all the backups come in. It's exciting at first to have football back, but then snoozeville. :D

The Charger starters looked good, that's all I really cared about. Of course like I said San Diego is great in meaningless games. It's when the pressure is on that they choke. :-[

My picks for tonights games.....
Lions crushed the Bengals. Looks like they will present an obstacle this year with our Division. Still, I didnt think the Redskins would Crush the Steelers. Make them look that bad. Especially not Grossman.
Even tho the games don't mean nothing.....at least we will see who goes in with some major injuries. Which could affect certain teams with the start of the season. Da Bears are playing at team that can put some offense up. Looks like the Pack will get that easy win with the Stains. Althought I think the Pack did lose to them last year. Okay looks like I will go 2-3 for today.....Indy, Giants, and Packers lose. Had a feeling with those Cheeseheads.....they always lose to the Stains.
Bears D will be there.....barring they stay healthy. Bears Defensive line is going to be able to bring it this year. Even their back Ups are decent. That will definately take some of the pressure off the corners.

Yeah my step son told me.....that Philly played and lost again. Said there were some games tonight to. I just woke up.....after only 3 hrs of sleep. So I havent heard anything yet. What kills me is I get that USE Sports Special. Its like 3-4 dollars for each issue. it had the schedule in it.....course I guess if I was to open it up then I might have seen. ::)
Heard briggs isn't going to play Monday night. Then how Chester Taylor is bruised, Urlacher sore. I was like give me a fricken break.Looks like Cutler is still having poblems. But Hanie looks a lot better.

He had a great year last year and he has looked extremely sharp through the first two preseason games. Yeah, he's on Denver and played the Bills last night.

Yeah I was surprised they went for Roy Williams. He is ancient...not a #1 by any stretch. I guess the question is would you rather have three or four good guys or one great one like a Larry Fitzgerald or an Andre Johnson down in Houston.
Vikings are going to have it rough I think though...Detroit is getting better but at worst I still have to think Chicago is #2 in the div. GB doesn't look like they have the Super Bowl hangover but we'll see once the season starts. Good to see Forte running hard.

Linebacker Lance Briggs has made a formal request that he be able to seek a trade from the Chicago Bears after the team would not give him a raise.
"The Bears made their decision, now I have to make mine," Briggs told the Chicago Tribune Thursday. "It's just how the business works. It's not going to take away from what I do on the field. I'm 100 percent a Bear, until I'm not a Bear anymore."
Agent Drew Rosenhaus sent an email to Bears contract negotiator Cliff Stein requesting the trade, the newspaper reported.
Briggs has three years remaining on the six-year, $36 million deal he signed in 2008. He is slated to earn $3.9 million this season, $4 million in 2012 and $6.5 million in 2013.
Briggs said he was willing to wait until after the season to request a trade if the Bears didn't budge, but after speaking to general manager Jerry Angelo Sunday, he decided to move now.

Good games...ATL is no gimme for your Bears, and I think Adrian Peterson will run all over my Chargers :-\

Vikings D will be tuff. Ex Bears Leslie Frazier and Mike Singletary are Minnesota's Coaches. Peterson isnt the Beast he use to be. now that he has been shown he is human.....later I will make my picks for this week.

Peterson has slowed down and still fumbles a lot but I think SD's run defense is crappy. I could be wrong.
