Now you can sit in your house and somebody will walk your dog for you. I dont know about this. I like to walk my dog. What do you think

Drones seem to have three main uses: killing people and recording videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/ARdrone) in the present, and delivering DVDs in the future.
Add to that, 'walking your dog'.
This vision of the future - in which the nice 20 minutes you spend walking your dog around the park is replaced with something much more efficient, and unpleasant - is the work of videographer Jeff Myers (http://vimeo.com/jeffmyers). It's not a real product, but it's a neat imaginative look at how one might work.

It would make it easier for people to go to happy hour after work- without having to check on the dog first.

Cool, but wouldn't work with my dog. That drone would be dragged off course and perhaps turned into plastic refuse on the street. The Shiba Inu is not easily directed.

I won't get a dog(s) until I have land. Which the way things are going won't be until retirement.

That's why we have Lhasa Apsos. They are long dogs with shortish legs, and content to sit at your feet. They are great for apt. dwellers. But they hate doorbells. They don't shed.
