Do you guys think the video game industry is responsible for the decline of morals and values? I know some of you on this forum who want to go back to the 50s.

Nope, not at all. What has caused the decline in morals is freedom. In the 50s, most stores were closed on Sunday, or only open for part of the day, by statute. A number of other Blue Laws were on the books, and enforced.

As those laws fell by the wayside, our freedom grew. Which included the freedom to act in what the majority thought was immoral ways.

I wouldn't go back if I could.
