That's cute, I'm surprised the bird doesn't get hurt.

Seemed to be close friends to me. LOL It was a lesson that birds are smart and love to have fun.

I've heard magpies are very smart...on the level with Amazon grey parrots...which are said to have the intelligence equal to about a 2 year old child. I used to have a Quaker parrot (Hagar the Horrible) who would throw seeds out of the cage and our doberman would go eat them, then stick her nose against the cage trying to get more. The bird would then bite her...every day...never failed. Dumb dog...smart bird. He would also call 'here kitty, kitty'...and when the cats were on the floor staring at him, start screaming 'get the cat! get the cat'. Hagar was a great bird but he hated my husband. He would race across the room, climb up his legs & body until he reached something he could bite and then clamp down...hard! I think he was jealous of my husband. I eventually gave him to a friend...my husband had suffered enough!
