I see Pittburgh on that most expensive list also, and this is why beer snobs suck.

There was a place here in WV selling 12 packs of Black Label (a fine Canadian beer) for $5, up until I bought the last one.

Back in the early 80's I bought a case of returnables for $5. Yacht Club. The stuff was awful. I couldn't drink it. My girlfriend's uncle ended up drinking the whole thing over the course of a year as I'd offer him a beer when ever he came over. I can't believe he kept coming over and drinking that swill.

I get into these "debates" with dumbshit homebrewers all the time, mostly kids because it's a fad with the kids nowadays.

It probably cost you triple or more to brew a batch of homebrewed beer than any of the commercial stuff.

Hands down, I've never lost that argument either.

Labatts is a brand of beers up here...not just one beer. But yeah, it sucks too.

I'm fine paying the taxes.

And yes, I brew my own beer. Been doing it for 30 years.

Home brew is expensive here. If you make your own malt it might be cheaper but buying it is not economical.

I've never taste a home brew that was actually any good.

Oooooh...you are missing either the best beer you have ever tasted or the worst. That's half the fun!
