I give up on c/p. New question: my keyboard keeps disappearing. I googled it. It says to go to the keyboard settings and cleared the cache. All I see is clear data. What will that fuck up if I do it.

Go to your provider store (verizon, sprint, t-mobile...etc) and have them reset it.

Here's instructions on cut and paste from manual for your phone: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/591985/Zte-Savvy-Z750c.html?page=11

What I did, because things like cut and paste, moving cursor around, are not easy with standard keyboard, I paid for one that had special keys for doing all that. Here's a link in case you want to try it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aitype.android&hl=en

I always just start over.

I was using the cool c/p buttons. They just stopped working. I can c/p links to my clipboard but not text. Does that make sense? I really did throw the same thing a few minutes ago. (onto a soft pillow... Lol)

Your service provider should provide for some backup. Verizon, mine, backup contacts.

SwiftKey is fine but I couldn't get hang of it, I hunt and peck. Also it doesn't have special keyboard for cut and paste and all.

If this is your first smartphone, just give it time, give yourself time, you'll get the hang of it.

You have to selected the text before copying. Different phones do it differently. Mine I press and hold and then two cursors appear and I move them around to select. then I can copy to clipboard.

It actually sounds like may selecting text is the part giving you trouble.

So far it's nice. There's no sound though. And where's thec/p feature?

The problem is more likely the dumb woman is smart and the smart phone is dumb. If these things were smart they'd be easier to use.

That's what I would do. She needs a little instruction, plus they can back up contacts and anything else. I used phonecopy once to do a contact restore. http://www.phonecopy.com/android/index-en.html

Arizona man suffers second-degree burns when iPhone 6 bends, catches fire in pocket, he claims (http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/ariz-man-iphone-6-caught-fire-pocket-article-1.1984836): "Phillip Lechter says he was riding in a rickshaw when a minor accident pushed him halfway out of his seat. He didn't think he was hurt — until he smelled smoke. The Scottsdale dad said his phone’s battery popped when the device bent in half, causing it to catch fire and burn through his pocket and boxers, leaving his thigh with second-degree burns."
