Good Lord. I hope these guys are ex-SF, or at least trained to SF standards. If they're trained no more than cops usually are, we're going to see some serious bloodbaths.

Look at the shooting of Amadou Diallo. Giving the officers the benefit of the doubt, which I do, they still did abysmally. They fired a total of 41 shots at a stationary, backlit, man-sized target, at a range of around 20 feet, and only hit him 19 times. And all those misses put the lives of others in the apartment building at risk.

Now, imagine how many misses they'd have had, were they using assault rifles. Which fire a more powerful cartridge, and penetrate walls more easily, than a 9mm handgun cartridge.
