Misplaced anger (http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/marine-sniper-is-saluted-as-more-than-the-video-scandal-that-defined-him/2015/02/21/e0a8492a-b7ba-11e4-9423-f3d0a1ec335c_story.html?hpid=z1)

4 Marine Corps snipers caught in a video uploaded to the Internet pissing on dead Taliban. The Commandant of the Corps called them trash. They were forced out over such a none offense. It still angers me.

Anyway, one of them, Rob Richards was laid to rest at Arlington recently after he died at home from an overdose of pain medication. Semper fi Marine.

Everything is on tape and you would do well to keep cognizant of that before you do anything.

True that. I gave numerous law of war briefs to soldiers. I always said to look for reporters and never take pictures or video.

But they tend to not listen to me....

In Desert Storm we were the first non-SoF into Iraq- 1 day before the official invasion. Big Army didn't let reporters come with us because they figured we were going to be mean to the Iraqis. We did have a combat camera from the Pentagon, so there are pics- some good ones. They are just in some warehouse somewhere. After the first hour of our attack the camera dude refused to come near me for some reason.

That is what pisses me off about what happened to those Marines. They got in trouble over that.
