Not so much beating the heat so far, it's staying dry.

We've had like over 20 consecutive days of rain here. Flash flooding everywhere.

We had the downpours in May & June. We are now in the semi-tropical mode....hot all day and about 2 pm, the thunderstorms move in.

Yeah, I remember that shit.

I'd step outside to make a personal phone call and in 10 minutes I looked like I fell into a swimming pool.
