We hear so much about the damage humans do to the envirnoment, to various species and how the invasive species we bring with us destroy habitats I thought I'd list some successes we have caused

There are more deer in America than existed when Columbus first set foot here . The brown trout, a valuable sport fishing species is not native to the Americas . Today humans have bee a boon for many creatures, racoons, coyotes, black bears, rats, seagulls and pigeons among them.

That was long after the transformation referred to took place. European livestock and agricultural methods introduced by the Spanish altered the landscape of what is now Central and South America. Ditto for the English colonies in North America.
