We are masters of our own destiny and if don't change the path we're heading towards totalitarianism. We will then no more be our own masters, but slaves of the state.

I think we're just about there. Is there anyway to right this ship???

Do what you can to convince those on the left and on the right to let go and live with liberty.

Freedom as I interpret the concept can't be preserved within the context of the established political order in this country. Something new is coming. It is being ushered in by domestic political paralysis and the impact of the forces of history.

People on the left aren't interested in individual liberty. Their orientation is towards equality of outcome.

Yes, they want to invent and impose a new order. Just as many on the right seek to restore and impose an old order.

Restore limited government and the Constitution.

Like the Judge here I think that's not going to happen near term: "Those of us who really yearn for a return to first principles, the natural law, the Constitution, a government that only has powers that we have consented it may have... are frustrated by the choice between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney."
