Any Hikers ?

My siblings and I have hiked the mountains of WV our whole lives. My brother and I have planned to hike the Appalachian Trail for years. I have to delay my hike until after the transplant but my brother is taking 'test hikes' now lol.

Has anyone hiked the trail?

Only short parts of it. I use to hike in Upstate NY when I was stationed up there. That was very pretty.

I bet it was. My brother hiked part of Virginia last weekend. I'm really looking forward to doing it myself one day.

Use to quit a bit with the wife. With her diabetic problems we can't go like we use to. Plus she put the nix on me going/inviting some other good looking women. I do get to go with the daughters when they're in town and weather is good.

No, but you can hike it in sections. To do the whole thing takes weeks

The Appalachians are foot hills. Come out to Colorado and pick any one of our 59 14ers.

A month or so before I went off to basic, I did a week in the mountains around Durango. It was pretty cool.

I love hiking, it's my favorite hobby. I've never hiked any part of the appalachian trail before but i'd like to one day. Here is me hiking Mt Hood...
