It is with great pleasure that I announce the latest news here at The Political Forums. After discussion with your moderators, we have decided to begin a monthly contest to reward our members for your efforts in making tPF one of the most dynamic political forums on the internet.

While other forums ask for your donations, we would rather reward YOU, the posters, for making this forum what it is. It is no exaggeration to say that without your posts, this forum would not exist.

The contest will be open to all members except for moderators, and will run monthly beginning on September 1st. The prize will be some form of Visa / Mastercard Gift Card for at least $20 USD.

Points will be awarded for all manner of actions, including posts, threads, reputation, referrals of new members, and more. More details will be provided once we have a better sense of community participation, so if this opportunity appeals to you, please add your name to this thread to be automatically entered.

We thank you all for your contributions to the forum.

little league baseball .. it is an american thing..

we hosted the cal ripkin tourney here this summer it was great.

Little League and Tee ball are entirely different.
Little league has pitchers and catchers. Tee ball is exactly what it says. The ball is placed on a short pole that holds it steady and the kids swing the bat at it.
It's for very young kids as an introduction to baseball.

I was sorta looking for the proper forum to post a matter that would comfortably accomodate cultural changes and cultural matters. What about that? A culture Forum. Maybe break it down into US culture and then other cultures..say European and then Middle Eastern/Muslim and perhaps Miscellaneous or Other.
