Sep 26, 2016 - A UFO enthusiast claims that an unusual, circular object on Mars seems to indicate that it is part of an Alien object.


A strange Mars photo shot by NASA's Mars Curiosity Rover seems to indicate a "crashed flying saucer." Even though it might only be an odd, "massive" rock, UFO enthusiasts feel that close examination shows that it is an alien object. A number of NASA photos have been examined threadbare by UFO hunters, who claim to find "odd objects" on other planets that give evidence of life elsewhere. A video clip of the strange object has been posted by Streetcap1, a UFO spotter who has put a number of such UFOs in YouTube. This particular object is labelled not as a UFO, as it is not "flying." He says it is an unidentified "anomaly" with "windows" nestling atop a hill on Mars.

The clip is titled "Martian Hill Anomaly." You can see that there is a rocky hill that seems to protrude in the Martian landscape. That is a dark form right on top, much nearer to the hill, that suddenly seems to taper off. "This looks a bit unusual," Streetcap1 writes. "Doesn't really fit in with the surrounding rocks. It is at the summit of the mountain and very far off, so if it is a rock then it must be massive. Also, it looks like there are windows on it." What makes the object interesting, according to him, is that it stands out from the rest of the rocks nearby. It is darker, with a familiar shape. It is also spherical with a raised center. What is it? Is it a hubcap?

Or, perhaps, a flying saucer?

Scott Waring, who operates the blog UFO Sightings Daily, says the object, which seems to be a disk, "looks to be made of the same material as the surroundings, and could be a flying disk that has landed, or it could be a building built there on purpose to get a better view." However, Waring is "prone to imaginative alien speculations," says Inquisitr. More examinations into the object have made him find "a few other anomalies" in the NASA Mars photo. For instance, in a GigaPan composite photo uploaded by Neville Thompson on September 19, Waring interprets it to be a "male figure kneeling or praying" as seen from behind, "petrified from some monstrous weapon." This claim makes Waring really indicate "a show of blatant anthropomorphism," opines Inquisitr.

Moreover, the evidence of alien life in this object is too thin, according to dismissive skeptics. The disc may just be "a photoshopped image," say some, while others believe that it is only an "enlarged view of linear sand dunes." One commentator finds the object strangely out of context, as it seems to be a variation of something that is seen repeatedly nearby. Hence, the sightings might just be pareidolia, or the "psychological" tendency to interpret disparate objects that are placed in familiar patterns.

Zhao Haibin, an astronomer with the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, China, used its largest telescope to pinpoint that 2009ES, an asteroid about 10 miles wide, would hit the planet. Haibin said: "With the help of our images, astronomers across the globe have a more accurate moving trajectory of the asteroid." The 1.2-metre Schmidt telescope camera captured images of 2009ES that would show a better trajectory of the asteroid, he explained. The Chinese Academy of Science noted its current path and assessed that it would journey within 18.8 lunar distances, or the distance from the Earth's center to the Moon's. Among the 1,640 asteroids taking a path towards the planet, the asteroid has been detected by Scout a new computer system created by NASA. It can locate deadly asteroids and estimate how they hit the Earth.

But to measure the orbits more accurately, it is necessary to conduct further research. Still, if we do get hit, we are indeed doomed, as the Earth is not protected sufficiently. We might be sharing the fate of dinosaurs of 65 million years ago!

Astronomers abuzz after receiving mysterious signals from various alien species
Saturday 22nd October, 2016 - If astronomers are to be believed, there are various alien species trying to contact humans on earth. The revelation was made in a new study published by Laval University that has astronomers pointing out that at least 234 mysterious signals had been received from alien species.



The study said that all the 234 signals were received from faraway stars indicating that they might be from various alien species trying to reach out to us. However, the study dug deeper to ascertain the location of the signals. Scientists are said to have used the Apache Point Observatory to analyse the spectra of 2.5 million stars. They then identified 234 stars giving off strange signals, which they said "have exactly the shape of an ETI [Extraterrestrial Intelligence] signal.” They further added that each of these stars was also "relatively comparable" to the sun.

The authors were quoted as saying in their paper, “Although unlikely, there is also a possibility that the signals are due to highly peculiar chemical compositions in a small fraction of galactic halo stars." Commenting on the reasons behind the origin of the signals, the authors said, “This hypothesis needs to be confirmed with further work." With the research still ongoing, experts have pointed out that stellar oddities are not always due to aliens, but could be due to other strange phenomena.

Meanwhile, the Breakthrough Listen Initiative, that is funded by physicist Stephen Hawking and scientific philanthropist Yuri Milner to investigate intelligent, alien life said that, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.” The initiative remains skeptical about the scientific study, giving it a 0 out of 1 in the Rio scale.

Speaking to Project Camelot, friend Miles Johnson said: “A person has died here and I don’t think it’s good enough [that] somebody who just took normal medication should end up vomiting, spewing black liquid, whatever it was. “And then shortly after that, whatever length of time it was, died.” Max made a career out of investigating UFO sightings and alleged coverups. More recently, he was said to be probing into the lives of well-known figures in politics, business and entertainment. She added: “Apparently, he had not suffered any obvious physical injuries but he could have been slowly poisoned, which is why the results of toxicology tests from his post-mortem are so important.” “He has a brother, Josh, and sister, Becky, who are both devastated, as are his two boys. Mystery object likely first interstellar visitor
Sun, Oct 29, 2017 - A small asteroid or comet that has been spotted racing through the solar system might have come from elsewhere in the galaxy, US scientists said, possibly marking the first such interstellar visitor observed from Earth.


The mystery object, so far known only as A/2017 U1, was discovered earlier this month by a researcher using a sophisticated telescope system at the University of Hawaii that continually searches for near-Earth objects for NASA. “We have been waiting for this day for decades,” said Paul Chodas, manager of NASA Center for Near Earth Object Studies at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. “It’s long been theorized that such objects exist — asteroids or comets moving around between the stars and occasionally passing through our solar system — but this is the first such detection,” Chodas said.

The mass, 400m in diameter, quickly stood out for scientists because of its extreme orbit, coming from the direction of the constellation Lyra, almost directly above the elliptical plane where the planets and other asteroids orbit the sun. It crossed under that plane just outside Mercury’s orbit on Sept. 2 before being slung by the sun’s massive gravity into a sharp turn under our solar system. The closest the object came to Earth was about 24 million kilometers on Oct. 14. “It is going extremely fast and on such a trajectory that we can say with confidence that this object is on its way out of the solar system and not coming back,” NASA’s Davide Farnocchia said.

Astronomers were urgently tracking A/2017 U1 with telescopes as it makes its journey through the solar system, hoping to use that data to confirm the object’s interstellar origins and learn what they can about its composition. If the object is established as the first of its kind spotted from Earth, rules for naming it would have to be set out by the International Astronomical Union, NASA said.
