Well the video game industry's biggest annual trade show, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3 for short) is now over! All in all, I personally consider it something of a relapse compared to last year, but we'll leave that aside, at least for now. What games shown at this year's E3 most interested you?

Here are some of the games shown that I'll definitely be checking out further:

(Yeah, it's a nice mixture of the truly new-looking and the most sincerely old-school type of games that appear very similar to the sort that used to be common when I was a kid.)

That said, the game I'm most looking forward to, Elsinore, was not shown. That's understandable, as it's a low-profile indie game. Detroit: Become Human also holds some interest for me, but I don't think it will be as solid at its goal of criticizing discrimination as Elsinore to judge from the new trailer that was shown at E3. Quantic Dream seem to be casting white-skinned androids as "metaphors" for black people (very poor choice) and using at least one damsel in distress scenario in Detroit: Become Human. Still, as with David Cage's last game, Beyond: Two Souls, I'm won over by its heart (so far anyway) even if it does seem a little bit too Hollywood.

So anyway, again, what games most interested you?
