I know a lot of people like show tunes. Well, in that vein, I like a lot of game tunes. Some are pretty amazing by any reasonable standard, IMO. They don't need lyrics. Here are a few of my favorites. :smiley:

A couple more personal favorites I've been listening to this morning:

When I was in grade school (think 5th grade here), I practically never slept. I would always wake up at like 3 or 4 AM and bug my mom to ask if I could get up. Usually the answer was that I had to wait until 6 AM at least. I'd then play video games -- in particular Donkey Kong Country 2 -- for hours until she got up. This tune is from one of the more challenging levels that I got stuck on for a while and which, accordingly, I remember better than most others from the game. It brings back those fond memories. Plus it's a really good tune!
