Broncos are going to eat the Saints tonight. My Lions won...happy times.

Sucked ass again this week. At least them Stillers had a good showing today.

Hey Conley - what happened to the bolts? Losing to the stains? I think there were more points scored in the recent baseball game.

 Norv Turner and AJ Smith -- step by step -- have destroyed this team...it's a freakin mess. It won't get cleaned up until those two are fired..hopefully after we lose to the Chiefs on Thursday night! So far we've lost to the (at the time) winless Saints and 1-6 Stains. At least the Stains owner nutted up and fired Holmgren...Turner should have been fired years ago, really never should have been hired to begin with. Then again, to expect anything different from a franchise that fired a 14-2 head coach is just silly... least we've got our weather.

The stains are NFL hell for anyone looking to play or coach, Holmgren wasn't doing shit with them. Hell, he didn't really do anything in Seattle.

It's not like the bolts don't have talent. Rivers is a franchise QB.

I was going to post a pic of a shatted upon bed to compare to Rivers, but I thought better of it

I hope it's just Norv's influence but Rivers has been HORRIBLE last season and the first half of this one. He just chucks it up for grabs, and the stuff he says off the field is just nutty. He was a big reason why they brought Norv back, Rivers campaigned for him. It's time to blow up the team IMO, if they bring in a real coach (Cowher?) then maybe he can salvage Rivers but it's going to be a project. No idea what happened to the guy but I think it's because there's no accountablity in the organization top to bottom.

Cowher's at the top of everyone's list every time there's a vacancy and nothing. I don't think he's coaching anymore.

I'm not a bolts fan so take it for what it's worth, but I don't think that team is a total blow-it-up-and-start-over job. Cleveland is, always has been.

Conley

Oh I'm sure we couldn't get Cowher...I think he lives in NC now and he might be convinced to take the Carolina job...there are some franchises that just have a stink on 'em, the Stains are one but I think the Chargers are only a little bit better. People just aren't into sports that much here and the whole atmosphere is soft.

*** I noticed you had picked St Louis to beat the all powerful New England Patriots. Perhaps you would have better luck at picking which day in December that the world will end.

That game was in England though...would make sense that some loyalists to the crown might try to take out New England, maybe with some tainted Fish n Chips?

Hah - dude, that was a typo - seriously.

Not on my drunkest fucking day would I have picked the lambs over the cheats at home. Total brainfart on my part.

Yeah, I hear ya. The Patriots are my team and I lost a bundle on them when the Arizona Cards came up to Gillette Stadium and beat us.

It wasn't at home though, was in Old England not the new one...

Reminds me of a game a few years back against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football...I think Miami hadn't won a game all year and somehow they beat NE. Lost a few ducketts on that one

Well Miami wasn't quite as bad as I remembered but holy cow was it a long time ago...2004

While the Patriots are my team, I now live in South Florida and I'm really surprised to see Miami doing as well as they are, especially after trouncing the hated N.Y. Jets last week. The two games between the Pat's and Squish the Fish should be quite interesting.
