El Cajon 'Mother from Iraq' victim of possible hatecrime

From earlier this year. Remember this? Mother from Iraq is a vague way of saying MUSLIMA. It was considered a hate crime especially with the note that the attacker left. Broke in, bashed her in the head, took the time to write a really nice note and then left. hmmm.

CAIR was outraged of course....Daughter found her. Then the family decided they were taking her back to Iraq for the burial. MAny believed the dad was not going to come back. (some of us were a trifle suspicious and considered the term...honor killing)

Well. The family did come back. and thinking the police would find that murdering muslim hater. Besides...he had a pretty significant job here in the states.

Then. After an EXTENSIVE investigation, guess what happens on November 9, 2012. The husband is taken into custody for the murder of his wife.

I remember this case -- seemed suspicion fell on the husband very quickly. There are tons of Iraqi transplants in El Cajon, the hate angle didn't make a lot of sense
