I participate in cosplay and quite enjoy it!

To those morons who object, you know you've only got a problem with it because it's the women's role in geek culture. (Seriously, look at the gender ratios in these pictures.) Look fellow geeks, you don't want us to write your comics, you don't want us to make your TV shows, movies, or games, and you won't let us play in your tournaments. Playing dress-up (often for beauty pageants called "cosplay contests") is what's left of a social role in this kinda sorta community for us. Let it be. Don't go after that too. This is like complaining that there are cheerleaders at your football or basketball game. Yes well the girls/women don't get to play, so that's what's left. Let it be. Let the ladies have something!
