Can you give us a little more information? Like when he passed. Where? Is it possible to get a note of condolence from members to the family? I'd appreciate any information about the man. He was God fearing, knowledgeable, humble, a warrior. Any info is appreciated.

From what I am told, Wingrider passed in October. Very little information was relayed to me. I have had no contact with his family, and wish to respect their privacy. I sent several emails to his account over the course of his illness which went unanswered, and if I ever do receive a reply from the family, I will of course let the membership know.

To one of the ones who was there for me, a long time friend, wise man of God, may you rest in His arms and one day we will meet. Love you my brother. To the family if they read this, he will never be forgotten and my condolences.

I had little time to know him, but what I did know I respected a great deal.

His passing is sad.

Haven't been around much, and just caught up on it all. I was wanting to tell Wing "you ain't dead yet", but mercifully, it was pretty quick as such goes.

You are now one of our better angels Wing. Save us a couple warm seats next to you. Maybe a whole row ! We'll be along soon enough.

See you then friend. In the meantime, give the big fella a nudge in our favor when circumstances dictate. Be diplomatic, naturally ....... :)

I didn't know him long, but I knew him well enough to know that he was a very kind and outgoing guy. You didn't have to be around him long to know that much. He will definitely be missed.

I'm way late on this, and i really didn't have much interaction with him. But i understand that he was a great contributor to the forum, and many people here liked him a lot.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. May his travels be pleasant.

Wing and I shared some good books...we weren't the same politically from what I could tell but that didn't matter -- we each respected the others opinion. That can be hard to find online or even in real life, we lose sight of that...but that human connection is what its all about IMO

A good friend of mine for many years and a mod here in which I always thought he would make a great one and he did.

<deleted for wing's sake>

He was a good man. Kind. Considerate. He cared about the members. People couldn't help but like him. I will always admire him.
