Hmmm, yea, what I thought. But Dave can probably only see the first.
Only the first.
The link is all I’ve been using to post pictures on all forums for years.
This is what I found:

By tracing the firs red error, I deleted my history back to all time. Then rebooted. I can now see images on Edge but not on Firefox or Chrome. I probably need to find a way to do taht for those two browsers.
All three browsers now fixed. Thanks @Chris!!!
By way of explanation, in case others want to use these tools....
It is common netiquette to not directly link images on web site to forums because each view, unless it's cached, consumes resources on the web site.
The forum offers attachments. You download the image and then upload to the forum. There's no reference to the original web sit.
Snipboard.io at https://snipboard.io/ allows you to store images on their site. You copy the image URL from the originating web site, paste it in Snipboard.io, and it stores it and gives you a new URL you insert between IMG stages.
Postimage at https://postimages.org/ allows you to do the same as Snipboard.io but it also allows you to store and reference animated gifs. You download the animated gif and then upload to postimage and it stores it and gives you a URL for posting.
Snipboard.io and postimage are both free.
