You can mask up ‘till the cows come home, but even the CDC now admits that, with or without masks, 15 minutes of close contact with an infected person will spread the virus. And given the fact that it has ALWAYS taken 15 minutes of close contact with an infected person to spread the virus, that means masks are generally useless.

Almost anywhere universal masking has been implemented, from Peru to Columbia to Greece to the UK, has been followed by significant case spikes. As a prime example, this graph that shows the trend since the U.K. made face masks mandatory indoors is nothing short of stunning.

Bottom line: If the powers-that-be were correct, the areas that took a softer approach to lockdowns and masks would all be suffering immensely, while those with hard lockdowns and mandatory masks would be done with this. Right? So, why is maskless, lockdownless Sweden almost back to normal while Peru, India, Brazil, California and Columbia still languish? Why does this epic Twitter thread, which shows country after country performing horribly after they implemented mask mandates, even exist?.....snip~

Where the virus hits hard it appears to infect 20% of the population. A small number of those, the majority with comorbidities, die.

This 20% has held true all over the globe (except for Africa which for some unknown reason is not being greatly affected). On cruise ships (talk about a captive audience), in NYC, across Europe, etc.

    Regarding article above see: https://blogs.sciencemag.org/pipelin...he-coronavirus

"So the authors are proposing a “bradykinin storm” model, where increased bradykinin levels tie into all sort of coronavirus pathologies. The model fits many of these well, and also suggests other clinically observed features such as low potassium (hypokalemia) and low Vitamin D. It’s a very appealing theory, but it’s also important to remember that a lot of very appealing theories in this business turn out not to be true. Or not completely true. Or not true in the ways that were originally thought. The way to find out is through clinical testing. To be honest, I’m worried that this proposal is almost too neat and form-fitting; rarely do you get something that falls together this well. It’s also quite possible that you could come up with a reasonable set of literature references and previous reports that cast many of these connections into doubt – the medical literature is large, and you can find support for a lot of things if you’re putting together a brief for the prosecution. But overall, I find this work pretty plausible."

While the piece may have been exaggerated, do this, explain that to the loved ones of the dead now and going forward due to the idiocy of some? The piece does acknowledge the spread of the virus from Sturgis. As our numbers grow sticking your head in the ground may be cool and not require a mask but be safe in other public places, the life you save may be yours.

6.57 Million Infections and 194 thousand deaths isn't something to brag about.

A hard question for me and other free people is how people come to follow a president who has lots of protection from the virus while his cult members have little or none? When you are a member of a cult you lose your freedom, do you people not see that.

Masks work - nothing is perfect but I'll take near perfect over sickness any day.

Should you be posting on the internet without your mask?

I'm not finding that at your time stamp or anywhere else. Want to try again? I'm sorry, no do-overs. So many democrats, so little time, you know.

Africa is a big part of China's goal to take it over so yes it makes sense that few were infected there.

And I think the comment below is obvious, I see it online and I know people who follow Trump's mask edict as a command. This as everyone around him is tested constantly. Odd huh. Can't remember that happening in any presidency before Trump? Can you.

It is a curious fact that in certain sections of America Trump is followed as if he were some sort of messiah.

Those healthcare workers died because they were wearing the same masks we are ordered to wear. Now you do not hear about any deaths because they are all wearing the right mask that protects them.

The Chinese are building all over Africa. They brought the COVID with them. Luckily for Africa the COVID hasn't hit them hard.
