I have never used "Woke" to describe anyone. I guess that's either because I don't know what it means, or I've never encountered a person to whom it would apply.

But she does answer and define it:

If you bother to listen to her she's defining it throughout the interview:

1:33 lot of misery frankly I'm seeing people
1:36 blame various things they say a lot of
1:38 people say social media or their cell

1:41 um yeah I think obviously the mental
1:43 health uh was going to be impacted by
1:45 covid and everything being shut down and
1:47 kids having their social lives and their
1:49 school lives so disrupted for so long uh
1:52 does your book talk about the sadness
1:55 that young people are feeling and
1:57 identify uh culprit and hopefully a
1:59 solution

She responds:

it does so I mean I I there isn't an
2:03 easy answer and I think that the the
2:06 reason why especially young girls are
2:08 feeling as distraught as they are is
2:10 multifaceted and a lot of what you hit
2:12 is behind
2:13 they're sort of ever-growing misery but
2:16 there's
2:18 another sort of aspect that I think
2:20 hasn't been talked about enough and
2:22 something that we hit on a lot in our
2:23 book and it's sort of this uh this
2:26 martyrdom complex that a lot of young
2:29 people are are encouraged to adopt and
2:31 so you know you are you kind of gain
2:35 points among your peers when you talk
2:37 about your mental illness about your
2:40 your victimhood and so one of the
2:42 examples that I heard from from a very
2:44 wealthy mother in Silicon Valley of you
2:47 know very very upper class child
2:49 definitely in the the top five percent
2:52 of children in the world honestly as far
2:55 as luck goes and she said that she felt
2:57 like she had to be a victim in some way
3:00 in order to gain credibility among her
3:01 peers and so she sort of adopted
3:04 mental health condition that she she
3:06 didn't necessarily have and a lot of
3:07 that was a Dawn by Tick Tock uh there's
3:10 been a lot of these kinds of things that
3:12 have been written about as far as
3:14 Tourette's Syndrome goes but she sort of
3:16 just adopted this victimhood and then
3:19 sort of it spiraled and when when you
3:21 tell yourself something enough times
3:22 this is sort of cognitive behavioral
3:24 therapy when you tell yourself something
3:25 enough times it manifests in some truth
3:29 and so uh we talk about that we talk
3:31 about the loss of resiliency for this
3:34 generation but the depression that a lot
3:37 of young people are facing again it's
3:38 mostly young girls uh has a has a lot of
3:41 culprits

What’s amazing is that you think there’s a cogent definition in all that jibber jabber. Do you represent the right?

“Woke” is a new right wing sacred cow that needs defending by its worshippers. But it’s not a real thing - it’s nothing more than a cow hide stuffed with bullshiit. As demonstrated a few posts back, the supposed principles of Woke are just the laundry list of complaints - real and imagined - that some Conservatives use to define and vilify their imaginary Liberal foes. It does nothing but cause inflation of the partisan divide.
