I would disagree. What we need is governments that won't allow themselves to be influenced by lobby groups offering large political donations , and do the job that people elect them to do . Capitalism is a beautiful thing when it has an immunity to corruption........and free market economics works fine until corporations set up cartels and monopolies .

Perhaps you disagree because at heart you are an authoritarian statist.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

That's a bit absurd..(lol).....people can plainly see the corruption between governments and big business . Its in our faces constantly , and people have every right to question it , and demand better from our elected representatives . It's the gravest danger to democracy that exists , and it's become institutionalized.

Playing "the leftist card" against anyone you don't agree with has become more of an admission that your view has no credible defense......if I was one of the smartest people who ever lived , I wouldn't be sitting here chatting with you on the internet (lol)

I am a demagogue who pays for his own health care - figure that one out when you have time...(lol) What I'm actually trying to say here , is that I believe health care can be affordable for all , if it's run correctly . It would be a massive over-hall , but it could be done . Allowing pharmaceutical company's to flood the country with opioids has been a major blunder.....and reversing that , would be a good place to start fixing the problems.

Your answer is meaningless. It still involves taking money from Peter at the point of a gun and giving it to Paul.

Your imagination is distorting your thought process . A 'means test' prevents claiming welfare when it's not needed .....for instance , subsidies to oil companies is corporate welfare on a grand scale .....so is allowing the use of tax havens to avoid paying tax . The average citizens don't get those kind of free perks , they just get the bill for them.
