    1,000 yard NFL rusher

I watched the game last night. They made big deal out of Elliot reaching the 1,000 yard rushing mark. It took him until more than half way through the 17th game to reach this milestone. That's around 60 yards a game. Big deal. That's mediocre.

It's time that this 1,000 yard rushing thing is updated. In fact all season records from the 16 and 17 game eras should be labeled with an asterisk.

I did not see the game, but considering the final score was 51 - 26 obviously the Cowboys had the ball to run most of that game and owned it!

Most of the cowboys point came through passing.

I don't doubt it with a great Cowboys offence.

But my point being when you are confident and possess the ball most of the time the run option is obvious. It also wears down the opposition defense.

But we don't run the ball like we did. Up to 1977 there were only 14 games or less.
It really says a great deal about OJ, Sears, Brown and Nance that did it in those 8 or so years after teams started airing it out and they got fewer carries in less games.

Jim Brown averaged over 100 yards per game for his career. No other other running back has accomplished that. Probably never will.

Of course back then he was as big as the average defensive lineman. He was a freaking beast.

Against Philly's second and third string players yes.

With all of these weird COVID protocols teams are forced to have healthy star players sit out a game. Sometimes they don't know about it until game day. It's insane.

Yeah, never will. It’s a passing league now, nobody will get that opportunity.

Not to mention being avoided so you will not get bonus money.

Antonio Brown may have been speaking some truth. A couple of ESPN hosts were saying that Tom Brady got in trouble staying in the last game of the season, so that he could make sure Gronk got his catches for his bonus money. Again it was just ESPN hosts where truth does not matter. They may had been laying groundwork to protect Brown.
    Let's go Brandon !!!
