Looks like Tennessee’s run is going to end in KC. Henry was a non factor.

I guess they weren't close to being good enough.

But the Titans may well be the hottest.

As a resident of Middle Tennessee--and a longtime resident of Nashville, itself (where the Titans are located)--I would probably not appear to be an impartial voice. (I watched the game in its entirety; and I rooted hard for the Titans, from the opening kickoff forward.)

But I still think that the Titans may now be the hottest team in the NFL.
I was watching the Raven's play late in the year and I thought it would likely boil down to them and the 49ers. But my son mentioned something. He said that as effective as they had been on offense their playbook wasn't very deep at all. So i watched somewhat skeptical. He was right. Pretty much that devastating option play or deep down the seam to the TE or a wideout. Of course they ran a few other plays but nothing like say the 49ers or Eagles or even most teams.
He continued that they would not go far in the post season because of this and while i disagreed he was spot on. It was kind of like "OK let the speedy QB get his yards but stop the running backs and what do they really have?" They got yards but not points.
I did accurately predict that the Chiefs would beat the Titans because they are about a two trick pony. Henry and the play action off it. Slow Henry down and any playoff team would beat them. The first two teams could not do so but KC did.

They were in fact a 9-7 team that went further than anyone thought. But no match for KC. One of the things about the Chiefs that the 49ers better take into account is that they score quickly so playing keep away doesn't work as well as it might against some teams, other than the vulnerability of the defense wearing down.

The 49ers defense doesn't have many weaknesses. The only weakness on the 49ers is the inexperience of their QB. That's minimized because they run the ball quite effectively.
