Flyer Player Refuses to Wear Rainbow Jersey

A Philadelphia Flyer player, Ivan Provorov, refused to wear a Pride jersey during warmups on Tuesday night. He cited his religious beliefs (Russian Orthodox). A lot of sports commentators criticized him heavily, saying the Flyers should not play him if he doesn't want to wear the jersey, or even that he should go back to his own country.

In an encouraging twist, however, Provorov's jersey has since sold out, as fans supported his decision.

Tim Pool, who runs a YouTube political channel, said this should not be seen as a victory, however. He said the whole team should have refused to wear them. He has a point. Why does it take a man from another country to show some courage in the face of these Woke elitists who want to control our speech and thought? Why didn't an American step up? Because Americans are mostly brainwashed.

Pool also noted that when Colin Kaepernick first started his kneeling protest, he took a lot of criticism. Yet two years later, everyone was kneeling, and the people who weren't were the ones being criticized. People need to stand up against this stuff, and not back down, or we are going to be buried under a deluge of forced obedience.

Saw this story. It seems that some Woke news caster was the only one to care, but since it made a stink on TV team management with off the deep end. Good to see the fans tell everyone what's up.
