Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Were you drinking last night? You don't see the term welfare? ROFL

Anyway, Medicare isn't welfare and it isn't socialism. Now you know and hopefully you've sobered up.

Literally, the post I quoted, the one you reacted to (about Medicare) doesn't mention welfare at all? I wasn't drunk but you apparantly were.

I understand socialism just fine. And part of the mixed economic model is socialism. In fact, most western countries rely partly on socialism...

And I understand socialism just fine... You just have the far-right making socialism into something it isn't.

That is socialism... The entire Soviet system of healthcare was based on the same concept... You work, and instead of getting money in your pocket to do as you please with it, part of it went into a pot that paid for your medical needs should they arise..

It does mention welfare. I just said that. I've been saying that all along. Are you still high?

Apparently, you don't. Mixed economies aren't socialist and no Western country is a socialist country. They all have market economies.

No, that's not socialism. Social programs are not socialism. lol

The Soviet system was based on state ownership of the means of production. Apparently, Soviet schools sucked.

McConnell racing away from Trump as impeachment vote nears

    https://www.aol.com/news/mcconnell-r...193040977.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday rejected a Democratic attempt to swiftly call the Senate into emergency session to hold an impeachment trial of President Donald Trump, all but assuring that those proceedings won't occur until after Trump leaves office.

Medicare is forced insurance. If you do not pay in then you are not eligible. They are forced premiums if you work.
That is why I also say that universal insurance is not Medicare for all.

What the left describes is Medicaid for all aka welfare. Medicare just sounds better especially since not many doctors will take Medicaid patients.
