(1) I will not defend former President Trump on this one. (He is often assaulted--rhetorically--for no good reason; but in this case, he deserves the assault.)
(2) Voter "suppress[ion]" should not be confused with the attempt to ensure voter integrity. (Is it possible that Republicans championing these laws have impure motives? Of course that is possible. But if the ends that they are pursuing are good, that is really all we need to know.)
(3) It is really unclear to me if Donald Trump "encourage[d]" his supporters to "storm" the Capitol--especially since he encouraged them to just go home.
But let us assume, for sake of discussion, that he did.
Neither this, nor any of the other objections, has anything to do with Cuba.
It is merely a deflection.
