Is it proper to report a thread/post for a misleading title?

For instance, if someone starts a thread saying "XXXX has died," when we all know that person is alive, should we use the Report Post function to note this? It looks like we should use Report Post only for rude/inflammatory issues, but what about completely factual errors?

We should report misleading titles if we are so insecure we are easily mislead.

Well, this is supposed to be a free speech board, so that should suggest the difficult uphill battle you face to affect real change. LOL.

    Who falsely claimed who died?

Yes, absolutely. You should report misleading thread titles at least five to six times per hour.

I think yes...because our leftist friends here have been doing a lot of that lately.

I would say NO, because we're allowed to choose our own titles and sometimes posters use them in a satirical sense. Members can always click on the thread to see what it's all about.

I would say this also. The title would have to be clearly grossly misleading that would be obvious, to most.

Sadly, it's not obvious even to the OP. I don't know how many times I've caught members citing articles they clearly haven't read.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Lol, if "factual errors" were against the TOS the republicans would all be permanently banned by now.
