I was going to make a chicken/veggie pie today, but decided to have leftovers instead. I love meat pies.
Yesterday , i smoked 16 boneless pork chops to fully cooked. I ate 2 last night.
I have some white beans and smoked sausage I'm going to warm up later and I'll cube a poke chop or two to bump it up. Lol. And eat a chop or two, also. Then freeze the rest for seasoning beans, cabbage, potato stew, etc.

Here's a pic of the last chicken pie I made.

I just mash potatoes and mix in ground beef. I like that better than the pie crust.

    C'est bon, ouais.

When i was just learning to cook, me and my brother would cook beans, rice, and meatball stew.
He always cooked the beans. Easy part but he was younger.
I'd cook the rice, meatballs, and make roux for the gravy.

After everthing was cooked, we would lay down a bed of rice, serve some white beans over it, then top everything with meatball stew!

Tonnerre et e'clair! Mai's C'est si bon, ouais!
Thunder and lightning! Well, dat is so good, yeah!

    No sh!t. Lol.

Now I decided to cook that chicken and vegetable pie.

But I'm using frozen shells. I just cleaned house and I'm not going to have a flour fest all over the counter and floor.
