Deshaun Watson is out of touch with reality. He says that he’ll
accept an 8 game suspension and something like a five million dollar fine.

Who does he think he is? It’s not up to him. If he wants to remain in the NFL, he’ll need to accept whatever punishment is handed out.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson would be willing to accept an eight-game suspension and a $5 million fine to avoid missing the entire season, a person familiar with his defense told The Associated Press on Thursday.

He knows the NFL wants to go well beyond where the law went, so he is just negotiating.

This is no differnet thatn settling a suit and means nothing about guilt or innocence.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

I know you think it's the same, but it isn't. The NFL has engaged in a patter of obamaing the Browns through the officials for years. Last year, we had a defense lineman walk past the opposing QB - didn't touch him but was called for roughing. The same game, Baker was nearly beheaded - no call. The announcers were apoplectic. These are national network announcers - not local Browns announcers.

The NFL doesn’t have it out for the Browns.

The reason the Browns were losers for so many years was because of a lack talent. They drafted poorly and made horrible personnel decisions.

Now the Browns started to improve, they shoot themselves in the foot with the Deshaun Watson move.

The NFL doesn't require a criminal charge to suspend someone based on their conduct. He has settled 20 civil law suits. There's something there.

The NFL doesn't care about what he will or will not accept.

Watson completed one of five passes for seven yards in Friday's 24-13 preseason win over Jacksonville.
Watson played the first three drives, and the team failed to pick up a first down

Yeah well lots of people bid on a lot of things then they decide against it. In this case there was only one sucker... and not surprisingly it was the Cleveland Browns!

Is there a Lemon Law that applies to debacle level trades in the NFL?
