7.2 and the great usupers beg for money

Two serious earthquakes and the treasonous governor of California is begging for help. I say trade dollar of something of equal value. For every dollar they want, they have to toss an illegal back over the fence. Screw them...let the so-called 5th largest economy in the world fix it themselves

I agree. Why should the rest of the US subsidies them when they are wasting their money on illegals. I would tell them no.

States used to be expected to deal with their local peculiarities themselves.

California shudders, so residents there should have been paying taxes to cover the inevitable damage the next earthquake will cause.

Loseranna has hurricanes, so the people there should have been paying taxes to cover the damages from the next storm.

The people in Illinois have neither quake damage nor hurricane to concern them, why are they having to pay taxes to support the lifestyles of people who live where those are real?

Why should the people of California have to pay for tornado damage in Kansas?

This is what federalism is all about.

And FYI, I was awake when the 7.1 quake struck. I did not feel it here in Los Angeles, even though I'd felt the earlier 6.4.

We the People DID NOT vote in a majority Rodent Congress, they stole it via election fraud.

You guys are brutal. What if a transgender homeless illegal is injured when he/she/it is running for safety from the tent on the city street, slips on a pile of feces and is injured? Dont you think we should at least pay for that

States need to be responsible for their own predictable events and disasters. Florida, with ZERO state income tax BECAUSE of the benefits of their weather WANTS federal tax dollar help to deal with that weather when it predictably turns on them.

State's should be responsible for their own predictable natural disasters. Take Florida for example. They draw so many tourist ( including me) with their weather that residents pay ZERO state income tax! But when the weather wants ying for yang they want federal dollars. Bull$#@!. I pay for snowplows with my taxes because I live where they predictably are needed. We sometimes measure snow in FEET but don't cry for federal aid. Well NYC does but they are "special case".
FEMA should serve as a support system for local and semi-local first responders.
