    Cursor not behaving!

I have Windows 7. Tried rebooting, nope. Tried the Windows tutorial on cursors, nope! Tried a new battery, nope.

Its a $#@! trying to move it where I want! Any suggestions? I have a wireless mouse.

    Change your batteries.

If new batteries don't work, try reinstalling the mouse software and if that doesn't work, buy a new mouse.

Plug in a different mouse, see if that works.

If the battery you used was really new, is you computer blue tooth (if so make sure blue tooth is turned on). If you use a dongle make sure it is still inserted correctly.

In settings there is a part for the mouse- you can adjust the speed, type of cursor, etc.

    Here is helpful article: https://www.labnol.org/gadgets/wirel...working/13719/

Step 1: Take the battery out of your mouse, wait for a second and then re-insert the battery.Step 2: If the cursor is still not moving, type “devmgmt.msc” in the Windows Run box to open the Device manager. Since the mouse is not working, you can press Win+R to access the Run box.Expand the “Mice and other pointing devices” section, highlight your mouse listing and then select “Uninstall”. Then choose Action – > Scan for Hardware Changes and this should bring your mouse back to life.

Sometimes if you have a pending update waiting on your computer it can do that.

I actually had to buy a new computer last month because my last one crapped out. This one came with wired key board and mouse. Works fine and the wires are virtually not noticeable.
