I made this today, hard to find someone who does it like I do on youtube. The only difference, I use white meat only. Then if I have leftovers, minus the dumplings, I will make some pot pies and mix some carrots, peas to it.

We bought a new grill yesterday so, today I'm cooking some country style ribs, they're in the fridge, in a zip lock bag, marinating.

I decided to go back to where I started and dive in for a couple of weeks. Italian. Today I made Sunday gravy for tomorrow's braciole. Tonight we had Bucatini all'Amatriciana, fried calamari and caprese salad. Not exactly in that order. I think tomorrow I will also make some Limoncello because what's a good nosh without a drink?

I made the shepherds pie that I mentioned in the meat pie thread. Grass fed ground beef with onion, garlic, chives, and basil. Cook and drain. Put on warmer. Cook potatoes. Drain and mash. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper. Mix. Then add the beef.

To save my wife from the chores of preparing Sunday dinner I popped out to a local McDonalds and we gorged without the washing up.
