Still getting the database errors, not sure if it is important, but different browsers get different results. Sometime Edge works fine, sometimes not. Sometimes Chrome works fine, sometimes not. Rarely both go cagey at the same time.

I suspect that the database errors have different causes. Sometimes I think it's a problem with the link, in which case a different browser works and sometimes I think that the server isn't responding or it's too slow to respond, in which case it doesn't matter which browser you use.Originally Posted by Peter1469

I haven't had any "database error" in the last week or so, maybe the new server will help alleviate the problem.

The only Database Error I can remember getting here just popped up a couple of days ago and is still active.
I get a Database Error when I click on Page 8 of the thread about Washington D.C. possibly becoming the 51st state. That's the only place.

I have had no more database errors. I have had an occasional page lock up if I have more than one thread open in different tabs.

It had to be delayed because of an issue.
But this is actually why we were are switching servers; our forum basically has too much data (particularly photos and videos) and so the errors are going to keep happening until we switch. ADMIN said he was trying again this upcoming weekend, so hopefully we will see a huge difference starting next week.
