I've never owned an Acer computer, so I have no personal experience with them. I've owned Acer monitors. Until the last 10 years or so, we used to build our own computers, but then buying the individual parts became more expensive than buying them pre-built. I haven't priced out the parts lately - there's a lot more available on the internet now, so it might now be cheaper to buy parts once again. Asus makes pretty good boards.

Same here, Acer computer the worst I ever owned, but the monitor still running fine after 12 years.

Dell Computer> Acer Monitor> Microsoft keyboard> Logitech mouse

Just yesterday, I purchased a Logitech keyboard. (The previous keyboard--which was probably 25 years old, or more--was skipping; I needed to re-type many letters eight or 10 times.)

It was originally a Dell system; and I still have a Dell monitor.

I have an Acer CPU. (Yes, it is a desktop.)

And I have a Staples mouse. (No, I have no idea just who manufactures the mouse for Staples. I just know what brand name is imprinted on it.)

But just as long as it works...

OMG !!! ...a desktop user !!! And here I thought you were cool.

(gathering up the kids, holding them close, and loading them in the minivan..don't look kids...there is a desktop in that house)
