And the quiet, thoughtful and dignified manner in which Republicans displayed their opposition to President Obama is certainly a high water mark in the history of American political discourse.

I don't recall that there were any cries for impeachment several times a day when Obama was in office.
Or trying to impeach him with false charges.........

Generally speaking, there are exceptions, I dare say that most on the right criticized Obama for his policies and not his personality but the left tended to twist that into criticism of personality, racism and the like. The left tends to make and take things in terms of personality, even before Trump, with Bush.

A CNN poll in 2014 found that 57% of Republicans were in favor of impeaching President Obama for one thing or another.

And if you are suggesting that Trump was impeached on the basis of "false charges", I hope they gave you your favorite flavor of Kool-Aid.

Nor was the leftist propaganda machine calling for BO to resign and calling him all matter of vile names all day every day.

Of course the won't accept it. If they maintain control of the House of Reps, they will impeach him again. They will impeach him and the Mueller investigation report will be the basis.

Wouldn't doubt it. BO was a marxist who hatred the nation and did all he could to damage it.

The "leftist propaganda machine" - I'm assuming you mean the MSM - doesn't call for Trump to resign or call him "vile names"...but they DO report when public figures or political commentators say those things because that's their job. That is something Trump himself has never understood; he blames the media when they report that so-and-so said this or that bad or negative thing about him, and even threatens to pursue legal or legislative actions against them for doing so. They also report the lies and dumbass proclamations that come out of HIS mouth - mostly for comic effect.

Pray that rational people get elected to the House and are able to restore dignity.
