You are quite correct in noting that I "require facts and evidence."
But I also am a regular churchgoer. (If I disagree with something that the pastor says, in Sunday School, I will note the point right then; and if I disagree with something said in the sermon, I will e-mail him with my disagreement.)
I simply find it more reasonable to believe that Jesus was the second part of the Trinity than to believe otherwise.
