This thread is a form of cherrypicking fallacy. Nobody ever said cold days wouldn't happen anywhere as the globe warms, so pointing to specific cold days is meaningless. The rational people don't make similar lists of warm days, since that wouldn't be honest. But over the last year, the ratio of record highs to record lows in the USA is 1.75:1. That shows a warming trend.

If you weren't cherrypicking, you'd list every unusual hot weather event as well. What you're doing is kind of the definition of cherrypicking.

So what temperature is the Earth supposed to be? Is it that the Earth has not even reached the high temperature that it should be? Or is the true temperature -30.

If you weren't cherrypicking, you'd list every unusual hot weather event as well. What you're doing is kind of the definition of cherrypicking.

Some day you should ask your sources for just raw data. No adjustments for equipment changes and urbanization that they estimated. No missing years. Where the data points were. See what you get.
You will see two separate adjustments. One for urbanization and one for the change to digital recording equipment in the 1900s that together equal almost the entire change in temperature of that century. Then look for missing years of data and missing data points and then ask them what happened. Then look at carbon dating and ask yourself how they use a method that is only accurate for less than 4 to 10 thousand years has been used to measure ice samples that are 50,000 plus years old. Then you will see the word assume used very heavily. Then when you realize that warming temperatures of the water release CO2 faster instead of warming the oceans faster you will have even more questions on what they are selling.

I won't argue that the Earth may not be warming because it is always warming or cooling. It is the nature of all data and environment with different variables. Certainly you will see the level can be challenged. The fraud in the Global Warming Movement gets in the way of any truth.
