Well - it just seems like a show for females to me. The XL doesn't make you think about extra large vaginas right? But even when show first started and I saw it advertised I thought it sounded degenerate. What kind of person gets thrills from seeing people naked and afraid? What kind of people are you? Plus even if show doesn't show penes ( I have never watched it ) it just seems gay to me. Or for chicks.

If it was called Naked and Afraid Hot Chicks I might be able to get into it. Even when I watch porn I generally stick to POV or lesbian stuff because I don't like seeing penes and especially if I see the face that owns the penis. I didn't know if they blurred the penes or not - I never watched it but still - I don't want to look at naked dudes even if their penes are blurred. Another thing is that I don't like ugly people. I don't like to look at them anyway - especially if naked. My standards are quite high too - no doubt there are ugly naked people on the show too right? It sounds yucky to me.

Many years ago, when they first announced that a show called 'Survivor' was coming, I thought it might be good. I expected to see a show with people competing to successfully live off the land, build shelters, find food, etc. I was not familiar, at the time, with the whole of idea of "reality" shows and their game playing, backstabbing, silly intrigues, scripted drama and phony "challenges". Not what I expected at all.

I originally thought Survivor was going to be about surviving off the land, or that at least it would be a major part of the show. It kind of was at first, they would keep skilled people around who could feed them, if they could catch fish or whatever. Anyway, after the first few seasons they started finding more excuses to feed the contestants through challenges and whatnot. And people started to vote off the skilled survivors because they were afraid they'd be popular. It started to be more about the "social game" than surviving.

Like Private Pickle said, Alone is a pretty good show along the lines of what Survivor could have been.

Extra Large vaginas? Uh, no... I can't say XL made me think about extra large vaginas or any other body part, for that matter.

It seems to me that "Naked and Afraid" is actually mankind's most natural state. Everyone is born that way. I think it is kind of a silly concept for a TV show, but "degenerate" is probably not a word I would use to describe it, although I guess if you take any moral connotation out of it, it could fit.

What kind of person gets thrills from seeing people naked and afraid? What kind of people are you?

I have never seen the show and probably never will. I guess it might be interesting to see how various people react in an extreme survival situation, but the whole "reality TV" schtick doesn't do much for me.

So, what you have said in this post is that you made judgments about the show and the people who watch it without ever having seen an episode.
