The rulers of the State are the only ones who should have the privilege of lying - Plato
Everyone dies but most of the time nothing is gained.
If the powers that be must sacrifice a few for the greater good is that not noble?
You gotta crack some eggs right? Lets say that a common enemy could be created that would bring about world peace - would it really matter if that common enemy had been created by the powers that be? Lets say that to avoid nuclear war the powers that be set off a few van nukes in major cities around the world Sum of All Fears style - and blamed these acts on a terrorist organization that had somehow obtained broken arrows - would that be a bad thing? At the end of the day?
I do not believe that 911 was an act of State Terror but without a doubt the event made us all a lot safer right? And that was just a couple of buildings. If setting off a few van nukes could bring about full spectrum global security by helping to manufacture public consent for RFID microchips to be implanted in the skulls of all global citizens for example then wouldnt the powers that be have an obligation to consider it?
I fully agree with Plato that the powers that be should have the privilege of lying because this is not a perfect world and at the end of the day we all rely on those that are capable of making the hard decisions - and that are willing to carry that burden.
What do you guys think? Would you agree that the ptb have a right to lie - even about acts of State Terror?
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. - Romans 13:1
