Apparently some things can always be spun to make conservatives look bad when they complain.

I saw segments of an interview on YouTube with the creator and the film does carry an important message. It's a shame a little more thought wasn't put into that poster.

It's Western culture that sexualizes little girls. Critiques of Islam serve only to distract us from the degeneracy of our own culture.

Western culture does not sexualize little girls. That's muslim culture.

Hmmm. So its alright to have muliple wives and sex with 9 year old girls? You can't obsfucate the terror Muslims inflict upon women of any and all ages. Complete suppression and domination.

    Mister D , I'm kinda disappointed.
What you have here is subtle propaganda. If you can see through the cloud, it's about normalizing the acceptance of this type of behavior.

What you are claiming is that there is value in exposing sexualization.

Yet, Netflix sees no value in exposing racism!
    GWTW is a golden opportunity.

Netflix exposes its hypocrisy and agenda here.
Netflix is monetarily and socially cucked.
... It's not sexualizing them in a positive light. Read about it before you get the vapors.

People were very quick to jump on it without actually knowing that the film has an important message they would agree with (which actually is in large the same reason they were upset about the poster).

You completely missed the point of the film. I can understand your visceral reaction to that poster. I'm just grateful that I took the time to actually look into this a bit before commenting on it.

That's the sad part but no one is going to admit that and kooky anti-Islam rhetoric will continue.

I have one question about this. Why did Netflix use the most controversial scene in the film as a trailer. A scene that really has nothing to do with the "message" the highly moral Netflix is giving us? Why would you use preteen's flaunting their booties to deliver a morality play? Who exactly is the target audience for this film?

This film offers as much a morality play for cultural differences as "Show Girls" was a morality play against the Las Vegas entertainment industry.

Probably intended to draw attention to an otherwise obscure film, but that kind of backfired since now no one actually tries to understand what the film is about before complaining about the poster...
