I just looked at the map, and Laura is in Little Rock, as we post. If it still has an eye, it looks as if you're in it!

A huge house a few miles from mine burned to the ground several years ago. I drive by it every time I go to the grocery store. All that was left after that fire was the foundation and their safe room right in the middle of the house. I don't want an underground shelter........I want a safe room. I don't want to run down to my shelter when a tornado is coming and find spiders and snakes down there......... that would be too hard a decision to make.

Hey..I know a guy that is good at this. I could hook you up.
But I do want to let you know it'll be
    Kickback City for Cotton.

I'm not in construction but I did get my first kickback in 1992 when grandmas roof was destroyed by hail.
She asked me to look out for her so the contractor wouldn't get greedy, so j did

I had a house with a fallout shelter once. It creeped me out too. I popped a few corks on occasion in there with a few friends. Made me claustophobic

An underground shelter is not an option at the beach. However I would think that a fallout shelter attached to the house would have to double as a wine cellar and quiet room. Add a lazyboy love seat, cable, DVDs... "anyone know where mom and dad went?"

Mine will be just like any other room in my home. But much, much more resilient. I have no interest in being battered and torn to death.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.
