I have just discovered Brussels Sprouts and am not sure about them yet.
How long to bake in the oven, and at what temperature? @Peter1469
I love simple food and as my tomato plants are in full production mode right now, most of my meals, including breakfast, feature some sliced tomatoes fresh off the vine with plenty of salt and pepper sprinkled on. Sometimes, for lunch, I'll sliced some fresh mozzarella to go with the sliced tomatoes and add some fresh basil leaves. Mmmmm...
I do like cukes in vinegar and both salt and sugar, but I remember summer days as a child when my best friend and I would take a salt shaker outside and eat cukes fresh off the vine--right out there in the garden--with just a bit of salt.

It all depends on how you cook Brussels Sprouts. Don't ever, if you value your life, ever use frozen sprouts. Use fresh only. I cut the bottoms off (just a trim really). I cut them in half and then marinate them in olive oil and garlic. Bake them on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees until they soft and are starting to turn brown (keep cut side down). You can sprinkle some garlic salt on them before baking, I do.
People who boil or steam their sprouts probably also mistreat puppies.
