Heh, that used to work with the x-wife as well.

She is waking me up at 5 AM on a Sunday BECAUSE SHE IS BORED!
Being a cat parent myself, and having recently gone through some health issues with mine, changes in behavior are something to note. They could be a sign that something is 'off' with them.

Einstein, who we lost about 18 months ago, started hiding in the basement more and more, until the day he barely made it up the basement stairs to the kitchen, then collapsed. Off to the vet he went. dehydration and major infection of the mouth and gums, called stomatitis.

Hoover started getting very vocal (as best he can, he meows without moving his jaw) and a couple of weeks later, started having what we thought were equilibrium issues, but turned out that bladder stones were blocking his urethra, the urine was backing up in his system, and his kidneys were shutting down. Off to the vet. He's recovering now.

Bottom line, pay attention to changes. You never know what they can mean....

At age 15 plus, every day they are still here is a blessing.

She probably just finds you as annoying as the rest of us do.

    Good. I haven't even started.

Do you need a safe zone or something? Maybe a huggy teddy bear to make you feel safe?

Nah, I just need someone rational and honest with an IQ over 6 to discuss the issues of the day with.

    That leaves you out.
