Some self-identified conservatives have fully embraced the stereotype and use it to denigrate and insult liberals in exactly the same way that some liberals like to represent conservatives as being pretty uniformly unwashed, overweight, beer-guzzling morons with bad teeth living in a trailer park. Yeah, both stereotypes exist in reality. So what? Tarring an entire political demographic with that brush is ignorant.

Of course it is. It is just that some guys wear it like a fashion statement and they are the ones people notice. It is true that it happens on both sides of the aisle, but I do think it is more prevalent on the Left... and I don't drink beer.

Both stereotypes fit to some degree but was it not true that at one point "The limp wristed, man bun wearing, birkenstock shod, sashaying Leftist" claimed to represent the " pretty uniformly unwashed, overweight, beer-guzzling morons with bad teeth living in a trailer park". Such a funny description as they refer to Conservatives as the great lovers of corporations. I am sure there are some conservatives in trailer parks that are quite satisfied with their lives and have too much pride to have their hand out. The great expectation of living like the rich without earning it , certainly is not a conservative thought.

And your side said that 'as long as he was doing his job, then his personal life was none of our business'. THE LEFT set the standards. Now you have to live with it. I am not a Male Separatist. I am grateful to my Grandmother (RIP) for being my Primary Parent, my mother for supporting me, my therapist for helping me for many years until we relocated.

I am physically a man.

Psychologically I have more feminine then masculine traits. I am very sensitive to insults. One reason I am interested in Men's Issues is that it is particularly hurtful for me to be treated like a brutal beast rather then a Human.


Most manly men are OK with being treated like brutal beasts, men with more femininity are not.

Conservatives support Gender Roles. Modern Liberals support Gender Roles much much more then Conservatives.
