Kaepernick nominated for Pro FootBall Hall of Fame

    FReakin' nutz.
    Via Meaww.com:

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been nominated to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which made many sports lovers seethe with rage. They were furthered angered by the fact that a USA Today columnist supported the nomination for the induction.

Equating Kaepernick to legends like Dick Butkus and Mike Ditka, columnist Nancy Armour wrote:

“Kaepernick, then with the San Francisco 49ers, began protesting four years ago after a series of high-profile shootings of Black men by law enforcement officers, most of whom were white. Despite the glaringly obvious — that America has a different set of standards for Black and brown people, with harmful and sometimes even deadly consequences — Kaepernick was vilified.”

Don't care. Don't watch the NFL. Haven't paid any attention to pro football since about 2006. However, I did accurately predict Koepernick would be big trouble for football the first time he ever pulled his kneeling bull$#@! back in 2015 or whenever it was. That was a great call on my part, unfortunately, but only because blacks are very predictable.

It would be hilarious if he brought down the NFL and got admitted to the Hall of Fame too.

Not even good enough to play 70 games in the league yet hall of fame

    The NFL is a joke.

Kaepernick destroyed sports, I suppose he deserves some recognition for that.

Kap was hardly mediocre. You don't have to agree with his social positions, but he set records in college. He came in when Smith had a concussion, and never lost the job. The next season he took the team to the NFC championship game.

He was in and out after that, with multiple injuries.

Unfortunately for the NFL, in the first couple of years of him being blacklisted he healed up from multiple surgeries. In a league that's starving for quality QBs, they lost out.

All that aside, I don't think he should be in the Hall.

Nike stock is up 50% since the Kap campaign, so any boycott didn't do much.

He only play 2 full 16 game seasons. His rating was decent. But he also played on super bowl level teams. So it can prop us up your rating as well. Hard to say how good he was overall. Certainly not HOF. Only some dumb ass would nominate him over cpsocial justice.

I always remember arguing with a friend something wasn’t right about him. He was the face of that Franchise for a short period and dressed like a homeless guy for interviews. Never looking the part.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Now there's something I'd love to see a picture of.

Sorry to disagree; he did have his records, but being a local, I watched it all go to his head and that's when he started going down hill. He got benched and then - took a knee -- to get attention. That's all it was. He doesn't deserve the Hall of Fame.
