    Better retire Soon

Nothing new here, under the covers they do what they want , in public they point fingers and the Trump cultists follow. Social security was another target for greed. And the American right follows. Sad.

What happened to Rolling Stone of the good ol' days of interesting articles and timely photos of bands and musicians?

Nobody cares about this stuff. What, we have 12 year-olds working out everyone's retirement plans now? WTF? When will Allman Brothers be in town?

Public pension funds that manage employees’ retirement savings have a long history of investing in private equity.

The announcement was praised by Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton, whose agency has been considering ways to let retail investors access asset classes that have been largely reserved for the wealthy.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Sorry, midcan. You lost them when they read that "The Trump Administration" was involved in doing something, anything bad. You could literally post a video of Trump directing the grinding up of puppies and kittens to make Trump Brand foie gras and it would be dismissed as a Deep State hit piece. Don't you know that only Democrats are capable of being involved with greed and corporate cronyism?

Actually, honestly, he lost me from the get go as it is honestly over my head. I have a financial advisor / broker for this advice.

I sent the link to my broker and asked him to weigh in. He's an Anti-Trump guy but he's in DC today. He'll give me the honest investor / analyst perspective without the politics. If he responds by the end of the day, I'll post his comments verbatim.

It's something new every day. Throwing poop against the wall only works for a short time. After that short time passes, the poop just slides off and doesn't stick anymore.

When the serious and substantive complaints are lumped in with the occasional silliness or pettiness - as happens here every day of the week - and dismissed as more of the same, it reflects badly on the intelligence of the ones doing the dismissing. Trump supporters on this board have a single, kneejerk reaction to anything negative written about Trump or his administration and that is denial and ridicule.

The TDS buy, lock, stock, and barrel every piece of nonsense democrats spew. There is that.

I am a Registered Nurse. I work with nearly all women. Women can be haughty at times when dealing with others.

Anyway, at times, a gaggle of nurses decide they don't like a particular nurse aide. At that point they all start picking the nurse aide apart, bit by bit, hoping the aide leaves. The aides have learned that I am in their corner and will protect them from abuse. I have respect from the other nurses and they won't continue their tirades when I am there.

THAT ^ is what conservatives have become: a group of people who are willing to overlook Trump's weaknesses and failures, because the gaggle of "moderates" and leftists are constantly attacking. It puts one into defensive mode, and it is natural to protect one of our own.
