Funny how global warming hovers the globe - but only lands in California

    By Monica Showalter

    Excerpt:

According to California's governor, Gavin Newsom, global warming did the big fires raving his state, as well as its two ideological sidekicks, Washington and Oregon:

"The debate is over around climate change," Newsom said as he toured a burn area in Northern California. "Just come to the state of California. Observe it with your own eyes. It’s not an intellectual debate. It’s not even debatable any longer."
He also said he's "exhausted that we have to continue to bait this issue."
"This is a climate damn emergency," he said. "This is real."

    So don't blame him.

But there's every reason to blame him and his greenie policies that are quite literally fueling the destruction.
Since the entire press searchable on Google repeats the global warming blather, I decided to consult some real science and got quite a different picture, and not a flattering one to Newsom.

    Environmentalists Destroyed California’s Forests

Millions of acres of California forest have been blackened by wildfires this summer, leading to the usual angry denunciations from the usual quarters about climate change. But in 1999, the Associated Press reported that forestry experts had long agreed that “clearing undergrowth would save trees,” and that “years of aggressive firefighting have allowed brush to flourish that would have been cleared away by wildfires.” But very little was done. And now fires of unprecedented size are raging across the Western United States.
Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler

a few years ago....we had BIG fires in Virginia because of the same idiotic policies. Now many citizens go to the forrest and they play and have fun while rangers are no where around.>>Maybe all those 'rangers' are hiding under their beds in fear of covid....it's possible.

IN the spring we made a number of day trips into the mountains just for fun and a cookout on top of FlagPole. What I noticed all the way up is a mess.... trees down, looks like a disaster movie. No sense in that. If they'd allow people in to get the dead and down there would be less chance of fire and more green. We pay taxes to upkeep those forrests and i'm seeing no upkeep. Hardheaded democrats in charge of Virginia.

It has been 120 degrees F plus in many areas of California. You don't suppose that might have something to do with it, do you?

How stupid can the rw get?

Even funnier that you still don't know how to use google. I can give you classes for a nominal fee.

Canada's 10-year average is 5,639 fires and 2,864,437 ha burned. ... Regionally, Quebec experienced one of its most active fire seasons in a decade, seeing 674 fires and a total area of 68,768 total hectares (ha) burned; Quebec's 10 year average is 461 fires and 235,767 ha.

It is clear you didn't read the article since the people who know best about this stated that it was accumulated fuel loads is why they are big, big widespread fires. It gets dry a lot in California, after all a large area of the state is a semi desert.

120F doesn't start fires, dry weather and wind does with help from arsonists and lightning.

No link makes your claim unsupported.

Maybe you need to pay me a fee, to help you learn how to post a link?

A wet spring in the west creates full reservoirs and fantastic green landscape. It is a double edged sword.
Then it gets hot and it all dies and turns into kindling.

This is totally predictable. Then they act surprised, so they can claim stupidity and get Federal Emergency funding.
